Sculptor, inventor, and Dawson Lake founder Rick Lazes first honed his craft in the West Virginia mountains. Currently focused on steam-bent wood sculpture and reverse painting on melted plexiglass, Lazes says his art explores the “state of flux we endure in the 21st century.” His current sculpture series are titled “The World Is Bending” and “Liquid Art.”
